Making Waves

Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00-10:00am Welcome to Making Waves, our exhilarating Shallow Water Fitness Class that will make a splash in your fitness routine. Dive into the refreshing pool environment as we take you on a journey of cardio, muscular strength, core conditioning, and balance exercises, all performed in the shallow end of the pool. This dynamic fitness class is designed to target multiple aspects of your physical well-being. By utilizing the resistance and buoyancy of the water, you'll engage in a comprehensive workout that challenges your cardiovascular endurance, enhances muscular strength, improves core stability, and promotes better balance. Throughout the class, we incorporate various props such as water dumbbells and noodles to add resistance and variety to your movements. The water dumbbells provide resistance against the water as you perform exercises, effectively toning and strengthening your muscles. The noodles offer support and assistance, allowing you to focus on balance and stability exercises that engage your core and enhance your overall body control. The shallow end of the pool serves as the perfect environment for this fitness class. The water depth provides a safe and supportive space for participants of all fitness levels. Whether you're new to exercise or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, the shallow water allows for a low-impact workout that reduces stress on your joints while still providing a challenging and effective session.

Community Led Water Aerobics

Monday-Friday 9:00-10:00am & 10:00-11:00am Welcome to our community led Water Aerobics class, a refreshing and dynamic workout that harnesses the resistance of water to enhance your cardiovascular strength, improve heart health, and sculpt your muscles. Dive into this unique fitness experience where you'll not only tone and build muscle but also enjoy the benefits of low-impact exercise that is gentle on your joints. The natural resistance of the water provides a challenging and effective workout for your entire body. As you move through the water, you'll feel the resistance working against your muscles, requiring them to exert more effort and resulting in increased strength and endurance. What sets Water Aerobics apart is its impact on cardiovascular health. The water pressure acts as a natural compressor, aiding in the efficient circulation of blood throughout your body. This improved blood flow helps strengthen your heart, boosting cardiovascular endurance and promoting overall heart health. The buoyancy of the water also reduces the impact on your joints, making it an ideal exercise for individuals with joint issues or those who are recovering from injuries.
