Monica has lived in Valley County for eight years. Before moving to Idaho, she and her family lived in Alaska, where they enjoyed a neighborhood ice rink, copious cross-country ski trails, and easy access to winter sport. In her early 20s she worked as a raft guide and was an avid whitewater kayaker. Ample outdoor recreation in the west-central mountains is one of Monica's favorite parts of living in the area. She enjoys kicking it at the Kelly's playwave on hot summer days with her family, or logging yet another run on the bunny hill with her kids. Monica aims to help further the goals and ambitions of SCVRD through board service.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Cascade Aquatic & Recreation Center
