Shay Holmes is a native Idahoan, and finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a full time Valley County resident in 2001. Having spent many summers in Cascade, Shay grew up fishing, camping and horse packing, and she always felt like the mountains were her home. Shay loves people but especially enjoys the company and energy of children, and she volunteered with Sunday School, Boy Scouts, after-school program, 4-H, homeschoolers, and other kid centered organizations since she moved to Cascade. She loves our community and feels blessed that she could raise her children in such a safe and loving environment. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she loves to read, ride horses, spend time with her dogs and goats, and do woodworking projects.
